Suzanne Falkiner will talk about her book Mick: a lfe of Randolph Stow.
Randolph Stow won the Miles Franklin award in 1958 but later retreated from the world of writing.

Thursday 15 September, 6 p.m., National Library Theatre. SORRY, BOOKED OUT.
David Marr will give the Seymour Biography Lecture 2016, “Here I Stand”. Where should a biographer stand? Should they be part of the story or invisible?

Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September, 1 p.m. at the Dendy cinema,
National Theatre Live’s War Horse, filmed on stage from London’s West End. Based on Michael Morpurgo’s novel, War Horse takes audiences on a journey from the fields of rural Devon to the trenches of First World War France. Filled with stirring music and songs, a show of phenomenal inventiveness.
